PEAS | Formula Coverage

In Alberta, there are many programs funded through the Government of Alberta. Below, you will find a search tool to help you determine which formulas may be covered by these programs. All programs have specific eligibility criteria which your Social Worker can assist you with.

This list is not a complete list of all formulas available by manufacturers.

Additional Notes on Drug Benefit List: Many of the programs funded through the Government of Alberta (which includes Blue Cross Non-Group Coverage) rely on the Interactive Drug Benefit List to determine which medications (including formula, supplements and special diets) are covered. Some items are covered, but require special authorization. The "coverage status" column will tell you if a particular product is covered, not covered, or requires special authorization from a healthcare professional.
